An arrest has been made in connection with the fatal shooting of Dallas rapper Mo3 in November. The Dallas Police Department arrested 21-year-old Kewon Dontrell White on Wednesday December 9, for the 28-year-old rapper’s death, whose real name was Melvin Noble. He was indicted on a charge of possession of a firearm by a conviction felon, according to federal court documents seen by The News. An arrest warrant affidavit obtained by the newspaper states that a witness told police about White's alleged role after cops released images of the moments leading up to the gunfire. In the photos, the gunman is seen wearing a ski mask. On November 11 around noon, Mo3, whose real name is Melvin Noble, was traveling northbound on Interstate 35 between Illinois Avenue and Clarendon Drive, when a car pulled up next to him and someone shot into his vehicle. The rapper reportedly lost control of the vehicle and hit a concrete barrier. He then ran out of his car but the gunman followed him and shot him on the back of his head. He was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, CBS affiliate reported. Mo3 was on his way to film a movie when he was shot, his manager, Brandon Rainwater told a local CBS affiliate. Another motorist was hit by a stray bullet during the shooting and hospitalized in stable condition.
